Will a geforce 6800 graphics card be able to run starcraft 2 and guild wars 2?

I've been looking at some of the minimum requirement predictions for both of these games and they both say a 7/8series graphics card will be needed. I know this is not the official requirements but I was wondering if you think a geforce 6800 card could run both of these games? Will a geforce 6800 graphics card be able to run starcraft 2 and guild wars 2?
It seems like a 6800 would be a 6 series. but i don't know a lot about graphics cards but that seems like it would be right. As far as performance goes you would have to compare what a 7 or 8 series normally are and see if the 6800 is close, if not, it probably will not work or the graphics wont be very good. Will a geforce 6800 graphics card be able to run starcraft 2 and guild wars 2?
You would probably have to upgrade to the 8 series. To be on the safe side, I would get the 9800GT, so It won't be obsolete by next month. Will a geforce 6800 graphics card be able to run starcraft 2 and guild wars 2?
Yes.

Is there a release date for Guild Wars 2 yet?

I doubt it but just want to make sure. Is there any news on when it will be released? Is there a release date for Guild Wars 2 yet?
No, ArenaNet/NCSoft have not released a release date yet. The only thing they have said, is "When It's Done", because they want the game to be the very best it can be, and they will take whatever time they need to make it so. Right now they themselves don't even know exactly how long this will take, so all dates you see on other sites (like IGN) are pure speculation, and release dates published on sites like amazon are only placeholders until the real releasedate is announced.

The only thing that has been announced, is that there will be a closed alpha test and closed beta test before the end of the year (no applications are accepted for these, it's friends and family only - do NOT trust sites that claim to give you access to the beta; they are fake!).

They have stated that there will be a public beta closer to the releasedate, but when that will be, is also still unknown. Within the guild wars fan community, most people believe it will be either late 2011 or early 2012, but there is no way to be sure.

Your best bet is, to keep an eye on the official guild wars 2 site and on the arenanet blog. Both the public beta and the release date will definitely be announced there.

Will Guild Wars 2 be raising the level cap?

i looked it up but all i got this and it is still unclear to me.

Guild Wars 2 will have the kind of extensive character advancement appropriate to a persistent-world RPG. Our goal is to avoid forcing players into the grind-based gameplay that too often accompanies a high level capWill Guild Wars 2 be raising the level cap?
Will be raising the level cap indeed in a matter that still avoids excessive grinding. See some of the interviews they got lately .

Look here if you know how to display your mini pets in guild wars so you can transfer to gw 2?

I heard that you can put your mini pets in the hall of monuments how do you do that and if you can is that the same process in transfering your mini pets to gw 2 can you do that with your characters.Look here if you know how to display your mini pets in guild wars so you can transfer to gw 2?
You can't transfer your pets to a different game. You can display them in your Hall of Monuments and that will unlock "something" in GW2, but no one knows yet what that something will be.

Just have your mini's in your inventory and enter your hall of monuments. Click on the appropiate stand and follow the prompts. This will dedicate the mini to that character and display it in the hall.

What guild wars expansion pack do you need to get weapons and achievements in guild wars 2?

You need one of the basic chapters (Prophecies, Factions or Nightfall) along with the expansion Eye of the North to obtain rewards for the Hall of Monuments. Once you have both of these linked to your account you need to go to Lion's Arch and travel to the Eye of the North to start questing for "tapestries" which unlock categories for your monuments.

There is a trick to all of this of course, especially for the early points, and that is to move between different chapters of the game to obtain "easy" points. heroes are of course simpler in Nightfall, while the first campaign to finish might well be simplest at Prophecies, and so on. There are loads of good guides to this on the web, bu on my youtube-channel I made a short summary. Hope it helps. What guild wars expansion pack do you need to get weapons and achievements in guild wars 2?
The expansion you need is "Eye of the North". This expansion also requires at least one of the traditional campaigns - "Prophecies" (the original "Guild Wars"), "Factions", or "Nightfall".

Eye of the North will give you access to the Hall of Monuments, in which you can register your achievements throughout the game. Note that the more campaigns you have, the more achievements you can obtain and register there... in other words: you will need all three campaigns to be able to obtain all achievements (thus all rewards in the Hall of Monuments).

See the Hall of Monuments website (link below) for more info on the kind of achievements required, and the kind of item rewards you can get (click on the %26gt;%26gt; button next to the "Enter Character Name" field... just leave that text in the field for a sample)What guild wars expansion pack do you need to get weapons and achievements in guild wars 2?
You need the Eye of the North expansion along with one of the stand alone games (Prophecies, Factions, Nightfall) to access the Hall of Monuments. That is where your achievements and rare weapons are recorded and they will have some sort of connection to GW2 but only on a purely aesthetic value. What guild wars expansion pack do you need to get weapons and achievements in guild wars 2?
What you really need is the Eyes of the North expansion pack. That's where the turn-in points are. You need one of Prophecies, Factions or Nightfall to play Eyes of the North though. Also for maximum points you will need to work in both EoTN and whatever game(s) you have. You earn things you can turn in all four pieces of software.
