Will Guild Wars 2 have a main storyline?

I've watched a lot Guild Wars 2 game-play videos as well as read a lot of articles. And one thing I've noticed that's missing is any concrete main storyline. There's dynamic events and such but is there a main storyline? Is there a particular set of quests that lead you to an end game?Will Guild Wars 2 have a main storyline?
Yes, every character will have what is called a "personal story" - this is the main storyline, with a few nice twists: although the core story is the same for everyone, the full personal story is different for everyone, and is dependent on your race, on the replies you give to the personality questions on character creation, and on decisions you made earlier on in your personal story line.

The core theme in these personal stories, is to bring the legendary team "Edge of Destiny" back together, and to unite all the playable races for a final fight against one of the Elder Dragons: Zhaitan.

Also, each decision you make in every single "quest" that you do in your personal story, will have a lasting effect on your house and on the people in your home instance.
